• <br /> .oJ�tV OF .. <br /> y.',: <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII tit_#2 STATE OF HAWAII <br /> '+T4TEOFM�'`• <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 175 17 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT RELATING TO THE PURCHASE OF FOUR 14- <br /> PASSENGER VANS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, <br /> ELDERLY ACTIVITIES DIVISION. <br /> WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division, <br /> through its Coordinated Services for the Elderly program,provides essential medical, <br /> recreational, and other transportation needs to senior citizens over the age of 60 and those with <br /> disabilities; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Resolution No. 89-17,the Department of Parks and Recreation <br /> has entered into an agreement with the State of Hawai`i Department of Transportation to acquire <br /> four 14-passenger vans with the mandate that the County of Hawai`i provide a twenty percent <br /> cost-match for the purchase of the four vans; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to help defray <br /> the County's share of costs needed to acquire the four 14-passenger vans; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation to help defray the County's share of costs to acquire four 14-passenger <br /> vans for the Elderly Activities Division. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the folloing amount as set forth below: <br />
