Warshauer of District 6 to the Hawai'i <br /> County Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission <br /> (PONC). Mr. Warshauer is a retired botanist with the U.S. Geological Survey Biological <br /> Resources Division (RCUH), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and a former Planner with <br /> the County of Hawai'i. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State <br /> University and Masters of Science from UH Manoa. He has been a resident of Hawai'i <br /> for approximately 63 years. <br /> Mr. Warshauer is an active member of our community having served on the Steering <br /> Committee of the Puna Community Development Plan, as a conservation chair of the <br /> Sierra Club and currently sits on the State of Hawai'i's Legacy Land Conservation <br /> Commission (a commission that advises the Board of Land and Natural Resources on <br /> various projects). <br /> Mr. Warshauer states he is not affiliated with any political party.
