M , <br /> • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -;� `'''= �� *- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> . !j:+ .�rqw:�.•. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 198 1 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> ' AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> • DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO SUPPORT ISLAND-WIDE TRAININGS FOR <br /> THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS,the Hawai`i County Police Department will procure and provide island- <br /> wide trainings for police officers and departmental personnel; and <br /> WHEREAS,the trainings will be specific to civil rights and community relations, with a <br /> focus on public interactions, mitigating safety issues, and reducing liability; and <br /> WHEREAS, the actual dates are still pending, however, the trainings will be completed <br /> by June 30, 2017; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Police Department is requesting funds to procure a trainer to provide <br /> island-wide trainings for police officers and departmental personnel; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Police Department <br /> to support island-wide trainings for police officers and departmental personnel. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $7,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $7,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.201.5215.05 Police Department $7,000 <br /> Training Account <br /> 341 Misc.
