REQUEST: <br /> To enter into a multi -year maintenance agreement for five (5) years for one multifunction large capacity <br /> copiers at the Kona Prosecutor's office.. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> We would like to request the authorization of payment of funds for more than one fiscal year for a new copier <br /> maintenance agreement for the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Kona Office. The agreement would be <br /> for five years. <br /> We are seeking the a multifunctional copier for the Kona office. We are purchasing a copier for the Victim's <br /> Assistance Unit staff which will be housed in a separate office at the Kealakekua site. The copier is critical to <br /> handle the volume of work for our VAU staff covering two Circuit courts, one District Court and one Family <br /> court. New leased multifunctional copiers able to meet copying, printing and scanning needs will improve <br /> overall efficiency in the office.
