In, M.D. <br /> Request: A-5a to FA-2a <br /> Tax Map Key: 6-4-001:152 <br /> The Leeward Planning Commission, at its duly held public hearing on April 10, 2017, <br /> recommended for your approval the proposed legislative bill for a Change of Zone from a <br /> Agricultural-5 acres (A-5a) to a Family Agricultural-2 acres (FA-2a) zoning district for <br /> approximately 5.001 acres of land. The property is located on 64-730 Waikelehua Place, <br /> Pu'ukapu Homesteads, 1st Series, Waimea, South Kohala, Hawaii. <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the request: <br /> The applicant is requesting a Change of Zone from A-5a to FA-2a for 5.001 acres <br /> of land to subdivide the property into two parcels, one that is approximately three (3) <br /> acres in size and one that is approximately two (2) acres in size. The property was <br /> previously approved as a Condominium Property Regime (CPR) with two (2) units, <br /> which is called Cloud 9 Farm.
