No. 280 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 10:16 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 280, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 280, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim dated April 26, 2017, nominates <br /> Dr. Sharon Bintliff of Council District 9 to the Hawai`i County Board of Ethics. • <br /> Dr. Bintliff was introduced by Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim, and requested <br /> Council's favorable action of this appointment. Ms. Bautista stated that if Dr. Bintliff is <br /> confirmed, she will fill a term that will expire December 31, 2020, and that she is not affiliated <br /> with any political party. <br /> Nominee Bintliff was present and expressed that it would be an honor to serve on the Ethics <br /> Board.
