Poindexter, Chairwoman <br /> DATE: May 24, 2017 <br /> SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 11, Draft 2; Proposed Operating Budget for <br /> Fiscal Year 2017-2018 <br /> Below is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 11, Draft 2, regarding the proposed Operating <br /> Budget for fiscal year 2017-2018. <br /> This proposed amendment would amend the General Fund expenditure accounts as follows: <br /> • Decreases the Office of Management S&W, Regular S&W account by $37,725: reduces <br /> funding from a vacant/funded Executive Assistant III position; <br /> • Increases the Kona Pros Atty S&W, Regular S&W account by $29,340: funds a <br /> vacant/unfunded Legal Clerk I position(00-04506 temporary to permanent) in the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney's Kona office; and <br /> • Increases the following accounts to cover the fringe benefits for the Legal Clerk I <br /> position: Health Benefits by $859, Retirement Benefits by $5,281, and Employer FICA <br /> by $2,245. <br /> The following amendment affecting appropriations to the General Fund expenditure accounts <br /> are reflected below: <br /> Comm.
