Poindexter, Council Chair r, <br /> and Members of the Hawai`i County Council <br /> FROM: °Jen Ruggles, Council Member <br /> SUBJECT: A Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 213-17; A Resolution Determining the <br /> Real Property Tax Rates for the County of Hawai`i for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2017, <br /> to June 30, 2018. <br /> Below is a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 213-17 to amend the real property tax rates as <br /> proposed in the Operating Budget(Bill No. 11, Draft 2) for fiscal year 2017-2018. The <br /> amendment also changes revenues and revenue percentages based on the amended rates. A <br /> corresponding budget amendment to Bill No. 11, Draft 2, has also been submitted for processing. <br /> The proposed amendment is illustrated below in Ramseyer format with respect to Resolution <br /> No. 213-17 (material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken; material to be added is underscored). <br /> Due to the time constraints, a clean copy of Resolution No. 213-17, Draft 2, is not attached. ® ® <br /> at Ft <br /> The enacting clause and the two BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED clauses are amended as follows: <br /> "BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the 47 <br /> approximate percentage of the revenue to be derived from real property taxes for net taxable lander F <br /> and net taxable buildings within each class of property are listed as follows: <br /> Classes of Property Net Taxable Buildings Net Taxable Lands <br /> (Revenue%) (Revenue %) <br /> A.
