Poindexter, Council Chairwoman <br /> SUBJECT: A Bill for an Ordinance Amending Chapter 15, Article 9, of the Hawai`i County <br /> Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended),Relating to Farmers Markets. <br /> Attached is a bill for an ordinance to amend Chapter 15, Article 9, of the Hawai`i County Code <br /> 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), relating to farmers markets. This bill would make the <br /> following changes to the existing law: <br /> • <br /> 1. In section 15-72, create a schedule for farmers markets that is consistent in format with <br /> the parks and recreational facility schedule in section 15-68.1; <br /> 2. In section 15-72, remove references to "Waimea" and"Kona" and instead designate <br /> farmers markets in the schedule by name of the park or facility where the market would <br /> be located; and <br /> 3.
