PLANNING DIRECTOR INITIATED <br /> AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 25 (ZONING CODE),ARTICLES 1, 2, 4, 5 AND 7 <br /> RELATING TO ZONING DISTRICT REGULATIONS FOR MEETING <br /> FACILITIES AND COMMUNITY BUILDINGS <br /> ADDITIONAL PROPOSED REVISIONS <br /> Since the background and recommendation, there are added minor revisions that the Windward <br /> Planning Commission and the Planning Department are proposing: <br /> 1. Windward Planning Commission (changes in italics): <br /> 'Meeting facility"means a [permanent] public or privately-owned facility, which is not <br /> operated primarily for financial gain or governmental functions, that is used for <br /> [nonprofit] recreational, social, civic, cultural,or multi-purpose [use,] functions, and may <br /> include a kitchen but [which] has no overnight accommodations. [, and which] The <br /> facility may be used[fei]y organizations operating on a membership basis for the <br /> promotion of members' mutual interests or [may be primarily intended] for community <br /> purposes.
