No. 338 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 10:03 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> County i Co y Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 338, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 338, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim dated June 15, 2017, nominates <br /> Milton Pavao of Council District 4 to the Hawai`i County Salary Commission. <br /> Ms. Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim, introduced Nominee Pavao. Mr. Pavao is a <br /> former director of the County of Hawai`i Department of Water Supply, where he retired after 39 years of <br /> service. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineer from the University of Hawai`i at <br /> Manoa and has volunteered in several community organizations, including assisting with the Hawaiian <br /> Paradise Park Community Association and serving as a commissioner on the State Commission on <br /> Water Resource Management. If confirmed,he will serve to fill a term expiring December 31, 2019. <br /> Mr. Pavao stated that it would be an honor to serve on the Salary Commission.
