4�,� 7i <br /> • <br /> 44.. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 237 17 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MULTI- <br /> YEAR PROJECT BASED HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> WITH MOHOULI SENIOR PHASE 2, LLLP, OWNER OF THE MOHOULI <br /> SENIOR RESIDENCES PHASE 2 <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease <br /> or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year <br /> or of more than one fiscal year, be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) is <br /> seeking to implement a County project based housing assistance payment agreement to <br /> subsidize Mohouli Senior Residences Phase 2 ("Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, funds will be appropriated for this purpose; and <br /> WHEREAS, the purpose of the County project based housing assistance payment <br /> agreement is to provide housing assistance payment as needed for the tenants at Mohouli <br /> Senior Residences Phase 2; and <br /> WHEREAS, the OHCD would like to assist thirty (30) units in the Project under <br /> n available forpurpose;the funding a aiab e this rpo ,p and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawai'i wishes to enter into a multi-year agreement <br /> with Mohouli Senior Phase 2,LLLP, owner of the Project ("Owner"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the OHCD is requesting authorization for the Mayor to enter into a <br /> multi-year agreement with the Owner of the Project; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I <br /> that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a multi-year agreement with Owner. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that sufficient federal and County funds will be <br /> budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the <br /> terms of the agreement. <br />
