No. 342 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 11:05 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 342, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 342, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated June 15, 2017, nominates <br /> Mr. Micah Kamohoali`i of Council District 9 to the Hawai`i County Cultural Resources <br /> Commission. <br /> Ms. Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim, introduced Mr. Kamohoali`i who <br /> appeared in the Hilo Chambers. Mr. Kamohoali`i was born and raised on Hawai`i Island and is <br /> an active member of the Waimea community where he currently lives. <br /> Several Council Members commented in favor of Mr. Kamohoali`i. The vote was then taken <br /> with eight Council Members voting"aye."
