He was assigned to various assignments in the infantry, public affairs, <br /> armored cavalry and tanks before becoming an Asst. Professor of history at the US <br /> Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. Dr. Wilson holds a BA degree in Business with a <br /> minor in Journalism from McKendree University, and an MA and a Ph,D, in History from <br /> Temple University. He is also a graduate of the US Army's Officer Candidate School. <br /> Dr. Wilson first came to Hawai'i in the '70s when he was stationed at Schofield Barracks <br /> on Oahu for 3 years. He has lived in Hawai'i for the past 17 years. Dr. Wilson <br /> generously volunteers his time to many veteran organizations throughout Hawai'i <br /> County. He states he is not affiliated with any political party.
