r - - <br /> JNtYOFII,�'., <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •� �' STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 243 17 <br /> RESOLUTION CHANGING THE FULL TIME EQUIVALENT (FTE) <br /> STATUS OF A HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> SPECIALIST III POSITION FROM A PART-TIME HOURLY POSITION <br /> TO BECOME A FULL-TIME SALARIED POSITION <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) is <br /> requesting to change the FTE status of their Housing and Community Development <br /> Specialist Ill position from a part-time, hourly position to become a full-time salaried <br /> position; and <br /> WHEREAS, this change is needed in order to accommodate the increased <br /> number of housing projects in the Kona area that require close monitoring of <br /> management and finances, and of the social services provided; and <br /> WHEREAS, in addition to the functions described above, this position will <br /> provide oversight to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects such at <br /> the Certified Kitchen in the Friendly Place and the Kona Abuse Center renovation <br /> projects in the upcoming year; and <br /> WHEREAS, funds for this change in FTE status are included in the OHCD's <br /> current (FY 2018) Operating Budget; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> position HO-00008, Housing and Community Development Specialist Ill, be changed <br /> from a part-time hourly position, to become a full time salaried position. <br />
