(P•-Nt", N <br /> os , <br /> c. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •_ �•rI- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> *is;:* <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 255 17 <br /> RESOLUTION CHANGING THE STATUS OF AN ENGINEERING <br /> SUPPORT TECHNICIAN IV (TEMPORARY) POSITION TO BECOME A <br /> FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works reallocated position 00-04731 <br /> from Projects Coordinator (Temporary), SR-24, to Engineering Support Technician IV <br /> (Temporary), SR-19 in April 2017; and <br /> WHEREAS, this position was funded in Budget Ordinance 17-39 for <br /> FY 2017-18; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is requesting to change position <br /> 00-04731 from temporary status to become a full-time permanent position; and <br /> WHEREAS, this position is needed to provide assistance towards the <br /> County's Bridge Engineering Program and to provide technical support to the Bridge <br /> Section projects; and <br /> WHEREAS, this change will enhance the position's appeal in the recruitment <br /> process to motivate qualified candidates to apply for this position; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> position 00-04731, Engineering Support Technician IV, be changed from temporary <br /> status, to become a full time permanent position. <br />
