Hetherington of Council District 8 to the Kailua <br /> Village Design Commission (KVDC). Mr. Hetherington, a licensed architect, is the lead <br /> architect at Hetherington Architecture, LLC in Kailua-Kona. He is also a Hawai'i State <br /> licensed contractor (inactive) and owned a construction firm, Atlantis Construction, from <br /> 1997 —2005. <br /> Mr. Hetherington's previous work experiences and skill sets span wide and diverse from <br /> being a project manager for several architectural and construction firms, a chief exhibits <br /> designer for a children's museum, a teacher for a recycling center, a sculptor of musical <br /> sculptures, a musical coordinator, a musician, a draftsman and much more. <br /> Mr. Hetherington is an active member of our community especially with his church. He <br /> has previously,served on the Kailua Village Design Commission from 2011 - 2014 and <br /> served as chairman in 2013. He states he is not affiliated with any political party.
