REQUEST: <br /> The Vehicle Registration & Licensing Division is requesting a resolution authorizing the payment of funds in <br /> a later year and for more than one fiscal year, for a multi-year lease to purchase one (1) multi-function <br /> copier. The lease would be for a term of five (5) years. The coper will be assigned to the Hilo Motor Vehicle <br /> Registration SectionNRL Administration section, located at 101 Pauahi Street, Suite 5, Hilo, HI 96720. <br /> Payments will commence after delivery of equipment. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The lease for the current copier will expire September, 2017. It is currently producing poor copies and <br /> continuously jamming; sometimes wrinkling and tearing the paper. <br /> The estimated yearly cost is $1,860.00 ($155.00/month). The estimated FY 2017-2018 payments are <br /> currently budgeted in our FY 2017-2018 operating budget.
