The original nomination letters for these nominees were previously submitted in a letter dated August 16, 2017. The reason for this expedited request is that the Salary Commission has not been able to conduct regular business meetings since January 2017 due to vacancies which resulted in a lack of quorum. Having Mr. Fratinardo and Dr. Dow appointed at the earliest time possible will allow the commission to have 6 members to convene its second meeting for the year when it meets in October.
