REQUEST: <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for a period of five (5) years for <br /> four (4) Light Duty Utility Vehicles for the Department of Parks and Recreation, Hilo Municipal Golf Course. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The four (4) Light Duty Utility Vehicles will be utilized by golf course staff to transport employees, supplies <br /> and material to specific areas of the golf course for daily duties and golf course maintenance. <br /> The four(4) Light Duty Utility Vehicles will be leased for a period of five (5) years. The purchase price is <br /> estimated at $10,100 each. The estimated monthly cost for the lease is $180 each or $720 for all four (4). <br /> Funding for the lease is included in the FY 2017-2018 Budget.
