REQUEST: <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for a period of five (5) years for a <br /> Heavy Duty Utility Vehicle for the Department of Parks and Recreation, Hilo Municipal Golf Course. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Heavy Duty Utility Vehicles will be utilized by golf course staff to tow sand spreader and core harvester <br /> for greens maintenance as well as hauling supplies and materials for golf course maintenance. <br /> The Heavy Duty Utility Vehicle will be leased for a period of five (5) years. The purchase price is estimated <br /> at $13,500. The estimated monthly cost for the lease is $240. <br /> Funding for the lease is included in the FY 2017-2018 Budget.
