Kitigawa & Co., Ltd.) <br /> Request: Amendment to Condition B and C of Ordinance No. 03-108 <br /> Tax Map Key: 2-2-050:014 <br /> The Windward Planning Commission, at its duly held public hearing on September 7, 2017, <br /> recommended for your approval the proposed legislative bill for an amendment to Change of <br /> Zone Ordinance No. 03-108. The property is located at the northeast corner of the East Kawili <br /> Street and Hinano Street intersection, Waiakea House Lots Extension, Waiakea, South Hilo, <br /> Hawai`i. <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the request: <br /> The applicant is requesting a time extension to comply with Conditions B and C. <br /> The original Condition B required a water commitment fee to be paid within ninety(90) <br /> days from the effective date of Ordinance 03 108. The original Condition C required <br /> construction to be completed within five (5) years from the effective date of Ordinance 03 <br /> 108. If granted, the request will allow the water commitment fee to be paid within one <br /> hundred eighty(180) days and construction to be completed within five (5) years from the <br /> effective date of this amended Ordinance. The proposed project is an approximately <br /> 11,600-square foot building for office/retail spaces, to be occupied by the sole tenant, the <br /> Hawai`i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />
