-KOF.. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII :+ 4 -''-'=��' ' STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 331 17 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE MICROSOFT SQL SERVER <br /> LICENSES TO UPGRADE THE LASERFICHE SOFTWARE AT THE OFFICE OF THE <br /> PROSECUTING ATTORNEY. <br /> WHEREAS, one of the goals of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is to improve the <br /> criminal justice system by identifying areas of need and working collaboratively with other <br /> criminal justice agencies and the community; and <br /> WHEREAS, to improve its case management system, the Office of the Prosecuting <br /> Attorney would like to install LegalEdge Software, which will have the ability to interface with <br /> the five external systems being used to input and retrieve data; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney first needs to upgrade its Laserfiche <br /> software before it can implement LegalEdge Software; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to upgrade Laserfiche, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney <br /> needs to purchase new licenses to upgrade its Microsoft SQL Servers; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney has requested financial assistance to <br /> purchase Microsoft SQL Server licenses that are required for the Laserfiche upgrade; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney for the purchase of Microsoft SQL Server licenses to upgrade its <br /> Laserfiche software. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
