J�tVosyjy', <br /> \ai_, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -.': sS 4 i*) STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ,rF''� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 34i 17 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE MICROSOFT SQL SERVER <br /> LICENSES TO UPGRADE THE LASERFICHE SOFTWARE AT THE OFFICE OF THE <br /> PROSECUTING ATTORNEY. <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is responsible for the timely and <br /> efficient prosecution of all violations of State and County laws, ordinances, rules, and <br /> regulations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney would like to install a LegalEdge <br /> Software program to replace its current case management system that has become obsolete and <br /> inefficient; and <br /> WHEREAS, the LegalEdge Software program will have the capability to interface with <br /> five external systems that the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney uses to input and retrieve data; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, before LegalEdge Software can be implemented, the Laserfiche software <br /> needs to be upgraded to be compatible with the new system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney has requested financial assistance to <br /> purchase new licenses to upgrade the Microsoft SQL Servers for the Laserfiche upgrade; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney to purchase Microsoft SQL Server licenses to upgrade its Laserfiche <br /> software. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
