Y <br /> ;1.;. . <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII +_a !` �1•- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 347 17 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES, TOOLS,AND MAINTENANCE <br /> EQUIPMENT FOR HONOKA`A PARK. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation maintains neighborhood parks, <br /> beach parks, cemeteries, playgrounds, ballfields, and other recreational facilities in an effort to <br /> provide the public with safe and enjoyable facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, in partnership with the Department of Parks and Recreation, Friends of the <br /> Park volunteers give their time to preserve, protect, improve, and promote the use of Honoka`a <br /> Park; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation requests funding assistance for <br /> resources that will help the Friends of the Park volunteers maintain the Honoka`a Park grounds; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation to purchase supplies, tools, and equipment for the maintenance and <br /> beautification of Honoka`a Park. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,600 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $1,600 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5503.39 Department of Parks and Recreation $1,600 <br /> Friends of the Park <br /> 341 Misc.
