REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> DATE: October 3,2017 Re: Comm.No. 471/Bill No. 68 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo,Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:00 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo,Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Bill No. 68, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 68,transmitted by Finance Director Collins Tomei,via Communication No. 471 dated <br /> September 15, 2017, amends Ordinance No. 17-39, as amended,the Operating Budget for the County <br /> of Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2018. <br /> This bill decreases revenues in the Transfer from General Fund account(-$50,772); and increases the <br /> Office of Management Salaries and Wages account by the same amount. This transfers funding for the <br /> Special Program Coordinator from the Office of Housing and Community Development to the Office <br /> of Management. <br /> Deanna Sako, Director of Finance,was asked and responded that this is the new position <br /> created in the current fiscal year's budget.
