'c"AigYOFy`,� <br /> • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -+_• _* STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 355 17 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE MICROSOFT SQL SERVER <br /> LICENSES TO UPGRADE THE LASERFICHE SOFTWARE AT THE OFFICE OF THE <br /> PROSECUTING ATTORNEY. <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney strives for the just disposition of <br /> criminal cases and the promotion of public safety and order through timely, efficient, and <br /> effective prosecution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney relies heavily on the use of <br /> electronic data collection, analysis, management, and organization; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney would like to install a LegalEdge <br /> Software program to replace its current case management system that has become obsolete and <br /> inefficient; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney first needs to upgrade its Laserfiche <br /> software so that it can integrate with the new case management system, which will require new <br /> Microsoft SQL Server licenses for the upgrade; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney has requested financial assistance to <br /> purchase new licenses to upgrade the Microsoft SQL Servers for the Laserfiche upgrade; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney to puchase Microsoft SQL Server licenses to upgrade its Laserfiche <br /> software. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
