.'4pJ�tY uF <br /> ..... <br /> =. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -•_ �'' ' �}- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 364 17 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE MICROSOFT SQL SERVER <br /> LICENSES TO UPGRADE THE LASERFICHE SOFTWARE AT THE OFFICE OF THE <br /> PROSECUTING ATTORNEY. <br /> WHEREAS, one of the goals of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is to improve the <br /> criminal justice system by identifying areas of need and working collaboratively with other <br /> criminal justice agencies and the community; and <br /> WHEREAS, to improve its electronic case management system,the Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney would like to install LegalEdge Software, which will have the ability to <br /> interface with the five external systems being used to input and retrieve data; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney first needs to upgrade its Laserfiche <br /> software so that it can integrate with the new case management system; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to upgrade Laserfiche,the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney <br /> needs to purchase new licenses to upgrade its Microsoft SQL Servers; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney has requested financial assistance to <br /> purchase Microsoft SQL Server licenses, which are required for the Laserfiche upgrade and its <br /> integration with the new case management system; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney to purchase Microsoft SQL Server licenses for the Laserfiche upgrade. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
