The sidewalk use permit requested is for the <br /> purpose of allowing a 24" X 30 "sandwich board sign in front of their <br /> shop at 216 Kamehameha Avenue. <br /> As chairpersons of the Downtown Improvement Association's Design <br /> Committee, our first concern is that the sign meets the County's rules <br /> and regulations. In addition we are concerned that the placement of <br /> the sign does not affect pedestrian safety.
