The reimbursements are for overtime <br /> incurred by officers working with the FBI's Safe Streets/Violent Crimes task force. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $50,000 <br /> to the Police Department's Violent Crime Unit account. <br /> The Police Department is requesting that this bill be waived from Finance Committee and be <br /> placed on the November 2, 2017 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
