REQUEST: <br /> To accept an additional $105,000 from State Department of Defense which is provided through the Federal <br /> Emergency Management Agency Preparedness Directorats Grants and Training to sustain and enhance <br /> emergency management capabilities at the State and local government level. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The State of Hawaii has received funds from the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency <br /> Management Grants Program for FY 2017.
