No. 521 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 11:00 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 521, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 521, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated September 29, 2017, <br /> nominates Ms. Beverly Ann Blake to the Hawai`i County North Kohala Community <br /> Development Plan Action Committee. <br /> Ms. Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim, introduced Ms. Blake who appeared in <br /> person. Ms. Blake recently moved to the Big Island and states that she is a member of the <br /> Democratic Party. If confirmed, Ms. Blake will serve a term ending September 9, 2021. <br /> Several Council Members commented in favor of Ms. Blake. The vote was then taken with eight <br /> Council Members voting "aye."
