•JM�vOFh�'''. <br /> • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII 441�t STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 379 1' <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION'S SPORTS WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING CLINICS. <br /> WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, is <br /> coordinating sports workshops and training clinics throughout Hawai`i Island for athletes, <br /> parents, coaches, officials, and volunteers; and <br /> WHEREAS,the County of Hawai`i believes that youths participating in organized sports <br /> programs tend to achieve higher results in school, develop excellent interpersonal skills, and lead <br /> healthier lives; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funding assistance for <br /> brochures, speaker fees, supplies, and other various expenses related to the sports workshops and <br /> - training clinics; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation for its sports workshops and training clinics for athletes,parents, coaches, <br /> officials, and volunteers. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $7,500 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $7,500 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5507.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $7,500 <br /> Recreation Div OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
