Ms. Lewis served in the US Army from 1980-2010 where she retired as a <br /> colonel. She is a graduate of the US Military Academy (West Point) and the Harvard <br /> Business School. <br /> Since retiring from the military, Ms. Lewis has worked as an affiliate faculty at the <br /> University of Hawai'i at Hilo, a CEO for a non-profit, and a consultant. She has also <br /> generously volunteered her time to various organizations throughout the island <br /> especially with the Hawai'i Island Veterans Memorial Committee, VFW Post 3830, and <br /> the Veterans Day Parade to name a few. Ms. Lewis has lived in Hawai'i for <br /> approximately 5 years. <br /> Ms. Lewis states she is not affiliated with any political party.
