BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> This donation was given to the Hawaii County Office of Aging to expand the services of the Kupuna Care <br /> program. HCOA's contract with the State Executive Office on Aging requires that we provide an opportunity <br /> for people to contribute to the program and that those contributions be used to increase units provided under <br /> the contract. In this case, we intend to use the $500.00 donation to purchase additional units of in-home <br /> services for eligible kupuna.
