Mr. Werchick is a retired civil trial attorney who represented plaintiffs in <br /> professional liability and similar complex litigation. He obtained his law degree from the <br /> University of California Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) and his undergraduate <br /> degree from the University of California Berkeley: He has been a resident of Hawai'i for <br /> approximately 4 years. <br /> Mr. Werchick states he has a lifelong interest in community planning and development <br /> and has served in several planning commissions and review boards on the mainland. <br /> He is a current board member of the Friends of the Libraries-Kona and the Aloha <br /> Performing Arts Company. He has also authored several books and other legal <br /> publications. <br /> Mr. Werchick is a member of the Democratic party.
