REQUEST: <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for five (5) years for a full size <br /> color scanner and plotter for the Department of Environmental Management Wastewater Division <br /> Administration Office. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Wastewater Division is requesting to lease a full size large format Copier/Scanner to produce, copy and <br /> scan construction drawings. <br /> Currently the Wastewater.Division (WWD) cannot produce full size electronic files or hard copies of <br /> construction drawings. Construction drawings typically measure 24" x 36". Previously, electronic files were <br /> being made using a scanner in another Department. However, that scanner is no longer available for WWD <br /> use. The electronic files are to be stored on the County network server which will serve the need to reduce <br /> paper and be accessible to the WWD Geographic Information System (GIS). Hard copies are generated for <br /> plan review as required. <br /> The full size scanner& plotter will be leased for a period of 5 years. The estimated monthly cost for the <br /> lease is $390.
