�J�tYOFp,' <br /> �1 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII i- . / STATE OF HAWAII <br /> •T,rE <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 481 IS <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S <br /> _ NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM IN HAMAKUA. <br /> WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Watch program is a collaboration between police <br /> officers and community members dedicated to creating safer communities; and <br /> WHEREAS, this crime prevention program uses an"observe and report" method that <br /> helps neighbors to look out for each other and minimize crime in their community; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Police Department is requesting funds to purchase needed supplies and <br /> equipment for its Neighborhood Watch program in Hamakua; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Police Department <br /> for its Neighborhood Watch program in Hamakua. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $1,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.201.5209.02 Police Department $1,000 <br /> Hamakua Police-OCE <br /> 235 Misc. Materials & Supplies <br /> (Hamakua Neighborhood Watch Program) <br />
