REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS AND PARKS AND RECREATION DATE: January 23, 2018 Re: Comm. No. 692/Res.No. 473-18 PLACE: Council Chambers Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i TIME: 2:30 p.m. Council Chair and Members Hawai`i County Council Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Resolution No. 473-18, reports as follows: Resolution No. 473-18, transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Ronald Kim, via Communication 692 dated January 2, 2018, requests the approval of the Dedication Deed from Kaomalo LLC to the County of Hawai`i. Kaomalo LLC, a Hawai`i Limited Liability Company, is the fee simple owner of those certain roadway parcels of land for Luala`i Phase 3, situated at Waikoloa and Waimea, District of South Kohala, Island and County of Hawai`i, State of Hawai`i, being roadway lots R-15 to R-20, with each lot respectively identified as Tax Map Key: (3) 6-7-008:086, (3) 6-7-008:087, (3) 6-7-008:088, (3) 6-7-008:089, (3) 6-7-008:090, and (3).6-7-008:091. Kaomalo is desirous of dedicating the above roadway and all improvements thereon to the County of Hawaii for roadway purposes, and the roadway and improvements have been inspected and approved by the Department of Public Works, and received dedication approval from the Department of Water Supply, the Planning Department and the Department of Environmental Management. There was no discussion on this matter.
