,�JNtYOFy;,,',, COUNTY OF HAWAII fl-f.M.S.01.i STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 492 18 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION TO PURCHASE A 15" LAPTOP AND PRINTER FOR ROBERT N. HERKES GYMNASIUM. WHEREAS, the Recreation Division of the Department of Parks and Recreation plans, conducts, arranges, and promotes organized recreation and athletic activities for all age groups at recreation centers and facilities throughout the County of Hawai`i; and WHEREAS, Robert N. Herkes Gymnasium serves as a remote facility, overseeing Pahala Community Center, Laurence J. Capellas Ballfield, Punalu`u Beach Park, Whittington Beach Park,Na`alehu Community Center,Na`alehu Park, Waiohinu Park, and Kahuku Park, which are all located miles away from the main office where staff are located; and WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase a 15" laptop and printer to improve efficiency and communication from the Robert N. Herkes Gymnasium to each venue or facility under its general oversight; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase a 15" laptop and printer for Robert N. Herkes Gymnasium. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby transferred/appropriated the following amount as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $1,536 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $1,536 CREDITED TO: 010.500.5507.06 Department of Parks and Recreation $1,536 Recreation Div Equip 480 Misc. Equipment (Robert N. Herkes Gymnasium— 15" Laptop and Printer)
