REQUEST: <br /> This is a reqeust to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the State Department of Health, Chronic <br /> Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Division for the purpose of receiving grant funds to advance the <br /> County's work on Complete Streets. <br /> Please create a resolution to enter into an agreement with the State Department of Health to accept funds. <br /> Please create an Ordinance to appropriate funds up to $9,700.00 to revenue account 010.3309. 25 and <br /> expense account 010.141.5141.6('.104, for the period covering Janaury 2, 2018, to September 30, 2018. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Complete Street is a nation-wide program to help local jurisdictions design, build, and operate streets to <br /> enable safe access for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, and transit riders of all ages and <br /> abilities.
