No. 723 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:15 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 723, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 723, transmitted by MayorHarry Kim, dated January 18, 2018, nominates <br /> Gilbert Juan Aguinaldo to the Hawai`i County Windward Planning Commission. <br /> Ms. Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim, introduced Mr. Aguinaldo who appeared <br /> in person. Mr. Aguinaldo was born and raised on Hawai`i Island and states that he is not a <br /> member of any political party. If confirmed,he will serve a term ending December 31, 2022. <br /> Several Council Members commented in favor of Mr. Aguinaldo's nomination. The vote was <br /> then taken with eight Council Members voting "aye."
