•_�JM�Y,Oi M��,, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII /'• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> '+f l� M•Fv'\ <br /> t cs.M►a+ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 520 18 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br /> YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE OF REAL <br /> PROPERTY FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII OFFICE OF THE LEGISLATIVE AUDITOR <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other <br /> obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one <br /> fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawai`i Office of the Legislative Auditor is in need of office space <br /> and desires to locate at a portion of TMK: (3) 2-2-011:044, identified as Space No. 308 and 309, in the <br /> Bank of Hawaii Building, situated at 120 Pauahi Street, District of South Hilo, County and State of <br /> Hawai`i and owned by New Kaiko`o Building, Inc.; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lease is scheduled for occupancy by the County of Hawai`i Office of the <br /> Legislative Auditor beginning May 1, 2018, for a five year term with an additional five year option; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> Honorable Harry Kim, Mayor of the County of Hawai`i, is hereby authorized to enter into a multi-year <br /> Lease with New Kaiko`o Building, Inc., for a five year term beginning May 1, 2018, with an additional <br /> five year option. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to <br /> cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the Lease. <br />
