REQUEST: i <br /> The Office of Housing &Community Development "OHCD" requests an ordinance to amend Chapter 2, <br /> Article 39, Section 2-194 Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), relating to the Workforce <br /> Innovation and Opportunity Act Program. The amendment is to add language in order to accept state funds, <br /> in addition to the federal and county funds as already stated. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The State of Hawaii is ready to fund monies to OHCD, however Chapter 2, Article 39 Section 2-194 of the <br /> code does not currently allow for state funds.
