4Q•• �V . <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -(44fft *) STATE OF HAWAII <br /> !A,VIP--; <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 533 18 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> 1 AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR EXPENSES RELATED TO THE CIVIL <br /> DEFENSE AGENCY'S PROJECT 360. <br /> WHEREAS,the Hawai`i County's Civil Defense Agency directs and coordinates the <br /> development and administration of the County's total emergency preparedness and response <br /> program to ensure prompt and effective action when a natural or man-caused disaster threatens <br /> or occurs anywhere in the County; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Citizen Corps Council and the Community Emergency Response <br /> Teams (CERT) are community-based programs of the Civil Defense Agency that educate the <br /> community on how to properly prepare and respond to an emergency and provide support to <br /> emergency response organizations when the need arises; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Citizen Corps Council and CERT are coordinating Project 360, which <br /> will be an island-wide campaign to bring emergency preparedness to all communities; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Civil Defense Agency supports this campaign and is requesting funds to <br /> provide for printing, outreach materials, surveys, and construction of a website for Project 360; <br /> now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Civil Defense <br /> Agency to assist with expenses relating to Project 360 in District 2. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
