BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Hawaii Fire Department would like to increase its ability to rapidly extricate patients in the most <br /> precarious and technical crash situations. The ability for the Honoka'a Fire Company to utilize the self- <br /> contained, battery powered eDraulic line of rescue tools will allow them to move quickly and extricate <br /> patients swiftly in the least desirable of situations. <br /> Being that the grant has been awarded, the Department is requesting that the Finance committee be <br /> waived. <br /> DATE: MAR 2 0 2018 <br /> Department Head <br />
