Mr. Calpito is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cultural <br />Anthropology and holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from UH Manoa. <br />As a graduate student, Jordan has also served as a guest lecturer at UH Hilo where he <br />presented various topics on Hawaiian burial preservations in the Anthropology and <br />Hawaiian Studies programs. <br />Mr. Calpito's employment experiences range from being a teaching assistant at a <br />charter school, a substitute teacher with the DOE, a political science research assistant <br />at UH Hilo, and a burial site specialist with the State of Hawai'i Department of Land and <br />Natural Resources (State Historic Preservation Division). <br />Mr. Calpito resides in Hilo and has lived in Hawai'i for over 28 years.
