tY OF N- <br /> w7 <br /> 4•`vim \,�Jiy; . <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •f ...g %/:}- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> I <br /> BILL NO. 122 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 18 34 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 39, SECTION 2-194, OF THE <br /> HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION,AS AMENDED), RELATING TO THE <br /> WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT PROGRAM. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The County Council, in seeking to create additional funding sources for the <br /> County Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Program, amends this section to allow for <br /> State funding to be included. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 2, article 39, section 2-194, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 <br /> (2016 Edition, as amended), is amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 2-194. Funding. <br /> The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act program shall be funded by <br /> Federal grants,. [er] County funds, [er oth State funds, or a combination <br /> thereof." <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. Inprinting this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material, and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to <br /> any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the provision or application, and, <br /> to the end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
