This certification is furnished in compliance with Chapter 19, <br /> Article 11, Section 19-90(d) of the Hawaii County Code, as amended. <br /> The total value of net taxable real property is $32,025,991,419. This amount is <br /> $1,569,336,972 higher than the previous year. This represents a 5.15 percent increase <br /> compared to the previous tax year. The estimated gross value of new residential <br /> construction is $367,670,100 and commercial construction is $59,983,500. <br /> A total of 203 appeals were filed, as compared to 170 appeals in the previous year.
