Mr. Salavea is currently employed as the Kamehameha Schools Land <br /> Use and Entitlement Manager. Prior to his employment with the Kamehameha <br /> Schools, Mr. Salavea worked as a Planner with the County of Hawai'i's Planning <br /> Department for approximately 4 years. <br /> Mr. Salavea holds a BA in Geography and a Certificate in Environmental Planning from <br /> the University of Hawai'i at Hilo and served six years in the US Air Force where he was <br /> honorably discharged. <br /> Mr. Salavea has lived in Hawai'i for approximately 25 years and states he is not <br /> affiliated with any political party.
